Once again, this annoying popup is back. This time only in Firefox. Using GoDaddy, have no plugins installed or activated other than core plugins, even disabled the plugins for the other EE Features, no cache plugins. Get a popup box. Sometimes if
Most interesting is if I click refresh on the page and try again, it works. However my registrants are not going to figure this out. Our event is in two days and people are calling. URL, http://chicagoceramiccenter.com/calendar/ Please help! thank you

You’ll need to disable the built in caching so that Godaddy’s caching won’t delete the valid registration form data.

Thank you, that worked! I only have one question. If we are disabling caching from GoDaddy’s side it slows down the web sites. Is this something future versions will not cause issues with that?

Hi there,

You can not cache any kind of eCommerce requests as each request is unique to the user making the registration/purchase. This doesn’t just apply to EE but any eCommerce type plugin will need it’s pages to be excluded from caching.

Most hosts allow you to exclude specific pages from their server side caching and we provide an example of those pages for EE here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/setup-nocache-exclusion-rules-event-espresso/

However so far we’ve found GoDaddy does not allow for this, they simply have all pages cached or all caching disabled with the above so its not something we can work around with an update. You could create a ticket with them to request caching is enabled/disable on specific pages to see if this is something they now have available but failing that if you wish to use caching and EE they may need to move you to a different package that does not force caching on all pages.
