Hi Yaron,

That image is the ticket selector from within Event Espresso 4 and is not available for Event Espresso 3.

EE3 uses the Multi Event Registration Add-on to allow the user to add single or multiple events to a ‘cart’ and then select the qty of tickets for each event they would like.

It is not exactly the same as the ticket selector but similar.

You can download the Multi Event Registration Add-on from your account page and install it manually the same as any plugin, activate it and on the page you linked you will also see a ‘Add to cart’ link next to ‘Register’

This guide is for installing Event Espresso, but the process is the same for the Add-on’s

Thanks Tony, This image is VERY misleading, as right next to it it states that it is coompatible with all packages both EE3 and EE4…. I think you should remove it, at least when filtering the tab to EE3…

However,
I installed the plugin but using it will be very confusing for people coming to the event.
We have 2 types of tickets and we need to collect information on each attendee.

When people go to the event registration, they see only one ticket option, and they have a ‘register’ and ‘add to cart’ option.
if thy click register the get to fill in details for only one ticket type….

I found that if they click ‘add to cart’ and then ‘view cart’ they get to the screen I want them to see. Is there a way to have just the ‘add to cart’ link without the ‘register’ and also to take off the price of the one type ticket that show (basically, redesign the ‘Event registration’ page)

Thanks

I found this which almost works: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-events-registration-use-add-to-cart-link-instead-of-default-registration-form/

Except I Still get all the old confusing information on the page. a link to cart is all I need.

I am sorry for the confusion and have issued a ticket to improve on this and make it clearer which applies to EE3/4

I tried taking a look at the site but it appears you are now using a different method as http://pita.co.nz/?page_id=35 no longer displays any events.

How are you currently displaying the events?

To note when using the ESPRESSO_CART_LINK shortcode you can add the direct_to_cart=1 attribute to the shortcode to automatically direct the user to the cart once clicked. So for example:

[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK direct_to_cart=1 moving_to_cart=”Redirecting to cart…”]

A full list of shortcodes and their attributes are available here:
