That event isn’t actually sold out, a single ticket type is sold put but not the event itself.
The wait list workaround you linked to displays a form to register interest in a specific event if that event is sold out, as you have valid tickets still available the form will not show.
It’s possible but the intention of that work around is to provide a way for users to register their interest for an event rather than a ticket, you don’t have access to the tickets within Ninja forms so it will show its for a specific event but not ticket.
