There is a MAJOR issue with the Wait List! It ignores the limits set for specific ticket types as well as the dateTime!! It appears the Wait List does not check anything when a cancellation occurs. It simply adds the next person in the Wait List using whatever ticket type they have indicated when they registered on the Wait List.

I am unable to use the Wait List and will cancel my subscription. I very much want this feature, so I hope it will be fixed, and improved, soon.

I found an error in a ticket type count (my mistake). So I’m now thinking that the Wait List DOES check the count for the ticket type. But it appears to NOT check the max registration count for the DateTime. So I ended up with a dateTime that has MORE registrations than its max registration count.

It simply adds the next person in the Wait List using whatever ticket type they have indicated when they registered on the Wait List.

That is exactly what the waitlist add-on does.

If a space opens up on the event it pulls the next person on the waitlist registrations to fill that space. The user selected a ticket during waitlist registration and we don’t change that or filer based on that ticket selection, we promote the next waitlist registration on whatever ticket they had selected at that time.

You (as the admin) can change that selection using the attendee mover add-on if needed.

Correct, it has to check ticket count to know if there is a space but it currently ignores the datetime limit and promotes the next registration leaving the admin to manage the registration from there.
