Hello I am having a few issues with my EE. We run monthly events and when downloading the CSV we end up with a document including all of the previous registrations we’ve ever had. Because of this issue we’ve taken to deleting previous events and hoping that would delete the registrations and transactions associated with that event like this reply from “Tony” said would happen here: https://eventespresso.com/topic/remove-all-transactions-and-registrations/ “The short answer to this is to delete the events, EE4 now has a feature built into where it will batch delete all of the related data for that event when you delete the event.”

The data wasn’t deleted and my CSV for each event is still downloading every entry, ever made. Can you help me sort this issue and find a way to download just the registrations per each event. It even shows 0 registrations in when in the individual event. Can you give us detail about your EE setup? Tell us your EE version, WP version, PhP and database. You can see this information on your EE dashboard -> help and support -> system information.

Hello I am having a few issues with my EE. We run monthly events and when downloading the CSV we end up with a document including all of the previous registrations we’ve ever had.

We have problem with .11 version that by just clicking this would not be enough to filter what to download

you have to filter it by searching the event then if you’re satisfied with the filter, you can download the CSV.

Hello, yes I can provide the details to our EE setup, here is that information.
WordPress Version: 6.4.2
PHP Version: 7.4.33
MySQL Version: 5.5.5
Event Espresso Version: 5.0.12.p
WordPress Address (URL): https://www.north-houston.com/dev
Site address (URL): https://www.north-houston.com

I need more than one month of registrations for a specific event, I need all that have come in for the event over whatever period of time. When I sort by month/year, category and status they’re all jumbled over a multiple events as we have quite a few events active for each month. Do you have a recommendation to get around the issue of the CSV having registrants for all of that month’s RSVPS instead of one specific to events? This was never and issue before. We were able to download a list of every registration for every individual event.

I have shot a video explaining my issue here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ljecmtyocop1c72/Trying%20to%20clean%20up%20EE%20Events_Registrations_Transactions%20_%20Event%20Espresso%20and%201%20more%20page%20-%20Work%20-%20Microsoft%E2%80%8B%20Edge%202024-01-03%2014-46-16.mp4?dl=0

Can you revert back your plugin to .11 version? you can do that by going to your WP dashboad -> Plugin then deactivate and delete the .12 version, Afterward go to your EventEspresso account page then on your download section, Download the .11 version https://monosnap.com/file/iSY3ADLBmm0u2AReDrZg5sYO81TOy3
upload and activate it in your WP dashboard, then try to download the CSV again.

let me know if it work.

thanks

Okay I can give this a try, but before I do can you confirm it will not delete all of the data from my ongoing events and registrations? We cannot afford to lose that information.

Hi there,

First, I can confirm that overwriting the version you currently have installed will NOT delete your event/registration data from the database. We do recommend you create database backups whenever you change/update your plugins just to be safe but we don’t actively remove data from the DB when you de-activate/delete/reinstall Event Espresso itself.

However, what you are seeing is a bug in 5.0.12.p and I have a temporary workaround to fix this if you want to use the version you already have.

After you have gone to Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event} -> Registrations and your viewing the registration list, click on the ‘Filter’ button (don’t set any filters, just click the button)… this one:

https://monosnap.com/file/WS4wZTQ0uEJGKpDurU3x1WJY5Yiqux

After you click that the page will reload you should see the same registrations listed but when you then click to export the CSV the relevant registrations for the event should be exported, not all.

So before you switch versions, try the above, does the export then work as expected for you?

Hi! I can confirm this workaround was successful for me and I was able to get the individualized CSV! Thank you for providing me a quick solution.
