I would like to clean up my EE by removing all transactions and registrations
those transactions that are abandoned (4) or incomplete (124) as well as complete (195)
those registrations that are approved (429) or in trash (9)
the only thing i want to retain is the actual events (there are 3)
some of the transactions and regisgtrations are for events that have been previously deleted
currently there are no active events open for registrations
is this possible?

Hi there,
The short answer to this is to delete the events, EE4 now has a feature built into where it will batch delete all of the related data for that event when you delete the event.
Now, you’ve said you wanted to keep the events so you can either manually remove each individual registration by first deleting any payments related to it first, then removing the registration (will be very long winded to do but I can add additional details on how to to do it) OR duplicate your current events that you want to keep so you have a copy fo them with no registrations assigned to it, then delete the original so EE can handle it for you.
Then edit the duplicate event and make any changes needed to make it match/replace the original (like editing the slug to match etc)

How do you still have registrations for events which have been deleted?
EE doesn’t allow you to remove events when there are registrations assigned to that event.
