Will it be practical to use the ticketing add-on to create name badges for event attendees? We would want them to be printable by event staff but we don’t want attendees to print them themselves.

If you don’t want attendees to print the badges, you might want to look into something like Qrious: https://eventespresso.com/2013/09/qrious-now-officially-supports-integration-with-event-espresso/

Thanks for the suggestion, but I’m not sure how a service like Qrious will help. We just want to be able to print attendee badges using information gathered by Event Espresso, without manually re-entering that information into another program. We don’t need any of the lead capture stuff they’re talking about. What will be the best way to do that?

Hi,

The ticketing addon has badge templates available. There are two drawbacks though:

1) They will print on A4 so will need to be folded/cut before being inserted into the badge holder.

2) The tickets are designed for end users to print out rather than staff so it may become a little tedious going into each attendee, opening the ticket and printing (there is no mass print option).
