Hi EE,

We have recently deployed our site to CloudAccess.net’s managed wordpress hosting and we now receive the error “This registration step could not be completed. Please refresh the page and try again.” when trying to complete a registration via Mijireh. This is working fine on our staging server and local machines but is now not working.

The Mijireh key is correct with no white spaces. We also have not changed any plugins since deploying. Also, we use Woocommerce on the same site that also connects to Mijireh and it works as expected from the new hosting server.

Can you please assist!

Thanks,
Cole

Hi Cole,

Please check to see if any caching services are running.

If there are, then be sure to setup no-cache rules or exclusion rules for Event Espresso:

Thanks for the speedy response, Lorenzo.

We do not have caching turned enabled. Also, I cannot see any caching configured in our cloudaccess.net account.

Hi Tracy,

Can you go to Event Espresso > Messages and check to see if the message templates got copied over with the deploy to the new server? If they did not, you can make it load up a set of default message templates by turning off messages in the settings tab, then turn them back on again.

Josh, message templates are present. We have a total of 7.

– Payment Received
– Registration Approved
– Not Approved Registration
– Registration Pending Payment
– Payment Reminder
– Payment Declined
– Refund Issued

These seem to be functioning normally in our testing since we implemented Mandrill.

Hi Guys,

After further investigating the issue, I have found that EE is returning invalid JSON on the action “espresso_process_payment_options” on the “next” button when calling Mijireh. It looks like the json response is including some kind of error message.

Here is a screenshot of my inspector.

On my local development machine, the json is valid and the message “payment already synced or not approved” does not appear.

Please note, last night we replaced the EE plugin on the cloudaccess.net hosting with the version that works on our local machine and the error is still occurring.

Could this be a bug in EE?

Thanks,
Cole

Also – We have just received confirmation from cloudaccess.net that they do not have any caching enabled for our site in their infrastructure.

Hi Cole, have you tracked this to only Mijireh or can you duplicate with any of the other payment options?

Hi Lorenzo – This issue only occurs with Mijireh. The Paypal payment option makes it through to the paypal payment page (however you will currently receive an error once you get to Paypal as this isn’t fully setup as yet.)

Hi Tracy,

Can you check to see if the issue persists if the Infusionsoft add-on is deactivated?

Hi Josh – This resolves the issue however the EE infusionsoft plugin is a requirement for our site. From the screenshots from the article, we have the correct version installed.

Can you please advise what we should do next?

Thanks!

Josh – I have just deleted and reinstalled the plugin and it looks like it may be working now. We are just doing some testing on our end and we will get back to you.
