The time zone is not working.

Event Espresso,

after the The fix for updating recurring events in the latest release of EE3. Event Espresso 3.1.37.16.P. now the time zone is not working.

Universal time is 2019-11-17 01:56:00. Local time is 2019-11-16 17:56:00.

But when I go to general settings the time Universal time is 2019-11-17 01:56:00

How can I change that time zone for my local time even tho the zone is Los Angeles but it doesn’t reflect that time.

Please advice. Thank you

Hi,

Version 3.1.37.16.p didn’t actually have any changes to date/time functions. The issues you’re seeing with your site’s General Settings page may be caused by some other plugin.

If you set the Timezone setting to Los Angeles, save, then temporarily deactivate the other plugins on your site, does it show the correct time?

That’s actually the correct time. For example, if it’s 2:55am UTC, then Los Angeles time would be 6:55 pm.

Something may be overriding the system. I mentioned this before but I do not think I was clear enough:

You’ll need to check to see if other plugins on the site are resetting the timezone. In other words, with Event Espresso 3 and its Recurring events plugin activated, and all other plugins deactivated does that class still close too early?
