Dear Team,
as appendix to my collegue’s question here:
https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee4-on-multisite-2/
we have bought full plugin, installed it (EE4) but same problem remains (so we are stuck on attendee information – if I click on “Proceed to payment option” it opens same site).

you can check it here: http://tickets.ruhrgebietaktuell.de/events/testing-event/

more interestingly I have manually added all critical pages but message on top says that something is wrong (eventhough below all in green):

I’ll appreciate any help you might provide.
thank you!

Hi,

I just replied to the other post regarding this. Can you check to see if the ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT shortcode has been added to multiple pages on your site please?

no, there’s no other pages with ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT on http://tickets.ruhrgebietaktuell.de/ – could it be that on other multisite subdomains there are those pages?

They shouldn’t. I assume the plugin is activated on the individual site rather than network activated?

yes, it is activated on individual site (I have tried on network as well but without luck so now on some sites I have duplicated checkout and other pages)…

I have redone all pages manually

but still same problem remains 🙁

from plugins there’s only seo premium, ithemes security and twitter bootstrap…any further ideas?

I have downloaded whole database and searched for shortcode as well, but no luck.

Hi Zeljko, I had a question about this comment:

https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee4-on-multisite-2/#post-170893

On some security plugins — deactivating them through WP plugins may not remove the security rules that they may have added to the htaccess file.

Could you try turning off the security options in those plugins via the plugins screen and then try deactivating the plugins?

Otherwise, there may be some security rules that are still running via the htaccess file on the web server.

Hi there,

It turns out your site is loading two copies of the jQuery library. Can you remove the one that loads from code.jquery.com so only the copy from WordPress core loads? Here’s a screenshot that shows both of them in the Chrome inspector:

Hi Lorenzo,
post which you are mentioning is my collegue’s…check above messages.

I have disabled all plugins on network and site, cleared any cache I might found and switched htacces to default one. Nothing helped!
After researching the forum I have also updated jquery which we are using…but nothing above doesn’t work.
Since we bought this plugin I’d like to have your detailed support.
thank you in advance.

Hi Josh,
ok, now we have only one jquery library but still no luck…

The thing I found out is that theme changing solves the problem but that can’t be a case. what am I missing (what is needed in order to make this plugin work and what maybe is missing in my theme)?

You can fix the issue with your theme by first narrowing down the specific code that’s causing the problem. I recommend setting up the theme and Event Espresso on a development server, then you can disable specific settings from the theme one by one and test.

You can also run the theme-check plugin and it will give you a report on potential theme issues that can be fixed.
