This happens for me too and started two days ago as well. Site uses mailgun for sending email, and I know it works.

I also am experiencing this, for about 2 days. Nobody gets my emails, either, and I’m using Mailgun. Here’s the thread about emails not being sent:

Hi Tyler,

I’ve split your support post reply from the original support post here:

https://eventespresso.com/topic/customers-purchasing-tickets-stopped-receiving-confirmation-emails/#post-154570

If you see an existing support post that sounds like your issue or question, then please create your own support post and then include a link to the support post that you saw. This will help us prevent confusion when multiple members are posting.

Is Event Espresso currently up to date and were there recently any changes to your site over the weekend?

Hi Tyler, it sounds like your messages system has somehow become damaged.

Could you try these steps?

Login to your WP dashboard and go to Event Espresso –> Messages. Then click on Settings.

Drag each message type to inactive (right area of screen). Then reverse your steps. From there toggle the Messages system off and on.

Does that help with the issue?

@lorenzo, Followed your instructions.

Took me from like 7 default message templates to 14.

I decided to bring in fresh copies of the messages WP tables (wp_esp_message_template and wp_esp_message_template_group) that I exported from a fresh install on another site.

This obviously made me lose my custom message templates (all using the email messenger). I had one setup for each of our course presenters.

They don’t have user accounts so I was creating custom templates for each new course presenter and setting their email in the “To” field.

Any way for me to create a single custom message template where I can set the “To” field dynamically?

We use ACF, which I have all the course presenters info stored in (name, email, etc). Any EE4 shortcodes that are ACF-aware that I could use in the “To” field?

If not, would the EE4 People addon allow this?

Hi Tyler, the People add-on (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/people-add-on/#usage) would not introduce this functionality as the shortcodes that are used in each area are validated upon saving so it would reject any shortcodes that are not currently part of the core plugin.
