Hi,
On a multi event cart page an event is currently listed like:
Tai Chi Intermediate Thursday
Line Item : (For Tai Chi Intermediate Thursday)
From what I can determine the part that says (For Tai Chi Intermediate Thursday) should actually be a description and possibly the excerpt. I tried setting the excerpt but I can’t get that text to change.
It’s the same on the registration page.
Please tell me how I can change this text.

Hi there,
That text should not be the excerpt from the event, it is the line item description.
Currently, we do not have an option to change that text to the event excerpt/content.

What’s the point of having the same text twice as below in bold?
Tai Chi Intermediate Thursday
Line Item : (For Tai Chi Intermediate Thursday)
You would think that the second one in brackets would pull through a different field.
Ideally I would like a list of date/times here, what options do I have?

It’s not the exact same text, the full string is the line item description, so:
{Event name}
{Line item} : ({Line item description})
Line item description includes the event name in this instance but it’s not the same output twice.

Hi Tony,
Yes that is the section. Yes, I would love to be able to change it as I would like to show the dates and times for that line item.
Any help would be appreciated. This same logic appears on the registration page, so ideally both sections would want to be updated.

The checkout page has a hook you can use to alter the display, but the MER checkout output (the output I linked in the screenshot) does not so you can’t change that currently.
The hook for the checkout page is:
FHEE__EE_SPCO_Line_Item_Display_Strategy__item_row__desc
We had another user do a similar customization here:

However take note of the problem with Promotions in that thread, you’ll need to account for that in the code you use.
For MER I have created a ticket to request some additional filters are included within the add-on to allow for this.
