Hi there,

Just to be sure before I buy your plugin. I have bus tour client. He does tours everyday and the bus has 20 seats. Is it possible to setup a calendar where the user can choose the day and book the number of tickets up to 20 for each day?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, an event can be set up on a daily basis (each are individual so you will need to create up to 365 events per year) and can be limit to a max of 20 people easily.

EE3 might be good for you as it has the Recurring Events Manager (allows you to automate adding multiple duplicate events over a period of time).

However, I would also check out EE4, it doesn’t have Recurring Events Manager but it has a lot of other great features: testdrive EE4 over at http://demoee.org

Thanks Dean,

So I just need a simple option where the user can choose a day and book a seat. Can a single user book more than one seat?

Is the EE3 Business License the one I need to achieve this?

Thanks again

Hi,

You might want to check out EE3 Lite, as it will give you a basic idea of how EE works.

Yes, group bookings per event can be done.

If you just need basic event registration then the Personal Licence would be sufficient.

However, I would advise you to compare the addons you get with Personal vs Business. The Business package is the best value for money, as you get a lot of addons thrown in: if you don’t need any of those then go with the Personal one, but definitely check out what’s available.

Ok but to setup every single day of the year do I need the Recurring Events Manager Add-on or is it enough the Events Calendar?

Thanks

Hello,

If you have many recurring events, then the recurring events manager add-on will save you a lot of time. It works by using a new event as a template and creates additional events based on a schedule that is selected:
