Hi Andy,

Do you have any caching plugins running?

Does your host run server side caching? Object caching has been known to cause a similar problem to this.

Hi Tony,

yes I do have caching plugin running, so to get rid of this repeat email I should turn the caching off?

Yes.

You should not need to completely disable the plugin but I would recommend disabling object and database caching as it will cause problems with EE.

Which plugin are you using?

You can also follow the guide here:

I use WP Super Cache, Autoptimize and Better WordPress Minify including wordfence but the caching on this one is not on.

do you have any suggestions in regards to which caching plugin to use?

Most caching plugins work in a very similar way so it’s a matter of preference.

I would recommend disabling Object and Database caching within WP Super Cache and retest to see if the same happens with the messages.

That’s only for ‘Page Caching’, did you also disable Object and Database caching?

I am looking online on how to do it, but so far no luck, do you have any tutorials or a link where I can learn about it?

Hmm, WP Super Cache does not include object/database caching by default so if you haven’t installed it separately (and would therefor know how to remove it) it may not be active.

Try disabling WP Super Cache from within the settings:

Go to Settings -> Wp Super Cache -> Easy.

Turn off the caching and save, then delete the cache – http://take.ms/Vh47d

Then retest.

Also can you check with your host to see if they have caching enabled on the server by default?

Hi Tony,

no I have not set any object or database caching, I have checked my website and didn’t see anything at this regards, so I think it is safe to say that they are not active. as per my hosting provider, it’s 1and1.co.uk so it is safe to say that no they don’t.

thank you very much for your help in this matter guys, if any issues about this same subject I will keep you posted.
