Hi EE4 Team – encountering an issue when registering:
This registration step could not be completed. Please refresh the page and try again. ( submit_reg_form_server_error )
WP_DEBUG is turned on, I have gone through the plugins I could disable and that did not resolve the issue, unfortunately.
You can attempt to register here.
Please help.

Hi Engene,

This is usually due to Event Espresso critical pages being cached.

Looking at your site we can see W3 Total Cache is enabled and is caching all pages, you’ll need to set the EE4 Critical Pages in the do not cache list within W3 Total Cache. We have a guide on how to do that here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/setup-nocache-exclusion-rules-event-espresso/

As you have migrated your site from EE3 the page slugs will likely be different from the example used in that post, although the steps are the same.

Thanks for the quick reply, Tony! Disabling the caching plugin did allow the registration to go through. Would you know if I should have a trailing slash in the list of pages ‘not to cache’ as per your link? The URL of those critical pages are structured this way: http://manilaworkshops.com/thank-you-2?e_reg_url_link=1-a242a0527479931760f6773efe50308a

so should i add them as
/thank-you-2/
/thank-you-2?
/thank-you-2 (no trailing)

Thanks in advance!

I would use /thank-you-2/

Basically the ‘?e_reg_url_link…’ is a parameter being passed to the page, the page itself is still set not to cache using the above.
