I updated event espresso to the most recent version and no longer am receiving registration notifications, however I am receiving registration pending payment.

Is there away to reprint the registration notifications or have an email resent to me?

Thanks,

Susan

Hi Susan,

Which messages are you no longer receiving? Registration Approved?

The registration Approved email will only be sent after payment is made. (depending on your default registration status setting)

We are no longer receiving registration notifications which has all the information about the person who registered for the event.

Hi Susan,

Could you go to your messages screen? Then find the Registration Approved message type.

The Event Admin should be blue (this means its enabled). Then click on it and the TO field should have a shortcode for the event author or the site administrator. Here is an example:

If your settings appear similar to this, then setup Postmark app or Mandrill as the emails may be getting sent to the junk mail folder:

Hi Lorenzo,

Thanks for the tip. I’ll check it out and in the meantime I turned off the spam filter on my email account. Is there a way to resend the registration notification within Event Espresso?

Click on the resend registration button which appears when you are viewing a registration through the registrations screen:

Hi Lorenzo,
It is set to [EVENT_AUTHOR_FORMATTED_EMAIL] I changed it to what you suggested and resent the registration, but nothing arrived. We do receive the REGISTRATION PENDING PAYMENT email but not the registration notification.

Is Mandrill or Postmark app running?

I changed the user’s email address and did receive a notification. However it was “registration pending payment” and not “registration notification” with all the users details when I click on “resend registration”

Hi,

There are a couple issues here so let me try to clarify:

1) If you are having issues with some emails being received (it works sometimes), then you’ll need a transactional email service to correct that.

Email delivery is complicated and these services will help:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/postmark-app-mandrill-transactional-email-handling-services/

2) The registration detail (registration approved) email is sent out when a registrant/attendee has paid and their registration is complete.

If the resend button is sending the pending registration email, then this registrant may have an open balance (still owe you money). This can happen if they selected an offline payment method such as check or invoice.

I setup postmark, but when I resend an approved registration it goes to the recipient. I want a copy of the registration to go to the administrator. How do I set that up?

Hi,

There isn’t a setting to resend to the site admin. However, the site admin should be able to view the registration from the WordPress dashboard.

Additionally, the site admin can go to WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> Events.

Then hover over the name of the event and click on Registrations. Go to the bottom of the page and click on the blue button for Registrations CSV Export.

Now the site admin will have a copy of all registrations for this event.

This process can also be repeated for other events.
