Hi Guys
looking to use the qr code reader now understand what it does, mine is only displays the unique ticket id not the attendee information + id when the ticket is scanned with a barcode reader i have installed the latest copy of ee, but still the same issue.

Hi Josh,
The QR and Barcode only contain a reference to the registration, they do not contain all of the registration information.
You’ll need to use the EE4 Ticket Scanner add-on and pass the value from the Barcode to that. The scanner add-on then pulls in all of the information and checks the user in/out.

thanks tony im bit confused as ee3 had so much more with ticketing than ee4 all i get when i scan the qr code is a unique ticket id not even the attendees name or other details what use is this to attendees or the event organisers if there’s no clear direction on what there meant to test the id against sorry i dont mean to be rude, just looking for the point of sale as the ticketing is beautify described for the bar-code scanner above and qr tickets in ee3 but seems to be lacking clear directive in ee4 , how would you benefit from using the ee4 tickets at present im trying to sell the whole ee package to the team and tickets keep coming up.
