When a promo discount code is applied to a purchase, the discount is applied to the individual registration amount and transaction amount but only for individual purchases. For group ticket purchases, the discount is applied to the transaction total amount but not to the individual registration amounts.
Why this is important:
Our clients often bill other departments for training costs and need to show final prices paid itemized for each ticket. We also use the transaction reports and csv downloads to see discounts used and registrations paid for each attendee.
Can you add a screenshot that highlights where you can see this, please?
Promotions apply to the line items for the event they apply to so I’m not sure where I should be looking to troubleshoot the above without some more details.

Thank you for your reply. Here’s a screencap of the issue in our CSV reports. The first 3 transactions show the discount amount applied to the Registration’s share and as totaled in the Transaction Amount. In the 4th example it does not Why? I know it’s a different discount code but they should always function the same if they are setup the same, right?
