Payment methods still blank

Hi, I followed the advice from this issue https://eventespresso.com/topic/payment-methods-blank-screen/ but the payment methods screen is still blank. This is causing major issues as I can’t configure payment methods. At this point I’m considering a different option for events management because this solution is basically unusable and your support hasn’t been able to help me with the issue. Please help fix this issue ASAP.

Hi Karen,

The steps that I shared in your prior support post is the fastest way to pinpoint the source of a conflict on a WordPress site:

In another support post, you shared that the memory was low on the site.

Could you let us know if this issue resolves itself after the memory has been raised?

Thanks Lorenzo – I turned off all plugins then turned on Event Espresso – still not payments screen

I increased memory to PHP and the issue is still there.

Hi Karen,

Was the memory increased by the webhost or was it raised through the wp-config.php file?

Also, when you originally installed Event Espresso, was it done through the WP dashboard or manually uploaded?

Okay thanks. There may be a chance that a connection was dropped during the manually transfer which would result in an incomplete install.

Could you deactivate and remove Event Espresso and then download a new copy through your account and then reinstall through the WP plugins screen?

Did that and payment methods is still blank.

Hi Karen,

It looks like someone or something went through and deleted all of the capabilities that grant access to the administrator for accessing the payment method settings. I installed the Members plugin by Justin Tadlock, added the capabilities like ee_payment_method_paypal_standard and so on, and the payment methods are now no longer blank.
