WP 3.9.1
EE 4.2.6

Hello,

A logged in admin is able to register for an event; however, after logging out and clicking to register for an event, they are given the following error:

“Nothing in your Event Queue

You need to select at least one event before you can proceed with the registration process.”

Is this a known issue?

Added note – I used theme test drive and it’s hit or miss. Twenty Twelve works, but everything else doesn’t.

Hi Steve,

The theme test drive lets you preview other themes as a WordPress admin while your website visitors let see your original theme.

With that mentioned, registration works if you are logged in but does not if you are logged out?

This sounds like it could be cause by a caching plugin/service. Did you recently have one running on your site?

Yep – I found another thread on this saying it’s related to WP Engine caching. I’m going to see if that fixes thing.

I use WP Engine. Ask their support team to setup no-cache rules for the Event Espresso critical pages:
