Multiple Registration Tables combined

Hi guys,
I am trying to get my tables to combine – like the one on the documentation page (https://eventespresso.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/view_cart_multiple_prices.png) But mine is showing up each event in a different table. (See http://pesa.minervadevsites.com/event-registration-2/?ee=332)

Also: What I am trying to do is allow a person to buy a ticket to my event, then buy a ticket for a spouse. Then buy a ticket for themselves and their spouse to the dinner, or the golf (add on events of the ‘main event’) I don’t want to ask additional registration information for each individual ticket, just the original Attendee for the main event. Is there any way to remove the “attendee 1” information for any other tickets? (See http://pesa.minervadevsites.com/event-registration-2/?regevent_action=load_checkout_page) Thanks so much guys. I love you!

Hi Royale,

That may be occurring if each pricing option was created as a separate event.

Here are two examples:

Example A

My test event

Pricing 1
Pricing 2
Pricing 3

Example B

My test event

Pricing 1

My test event 2

Pricing 2

My test event 3

Pricing 3

If it is setup like Example B, then each pricing option will be shown separately in its own event pricing table.

If it is setup like Example A, then all pricing options will appear under a single pricing table. Additionally, you can set it to only collect attendee information from the primary registrant/attendee. This will set Event Espresso to use that attendees information for any additional ticket or pricing options.

Okay Lorenzo,
But here’s what I ran across when trying to set it up as one event multiple pricing…

I want a person to buy 1 main ticket, 1 spouse ticket then 1 -2 golf tickets (spouse may or may not golf) 1-2 tennis tickets (again spouse may or may not)

The best I could figure out putting them on one event was to give like a max of 6 tickets and allowing it to be multiple registration and then it would give the option of buying 1-6 main tickets, then 1-5 spouse tickets etc until it used all the ticket availability.

What I would really LOVE LOVE LOVE — is if you had the actual shortcodes or compilation of whatever you did to create this picture: https://eventespresso.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/ticket_Selector.gif which honestly is why I fell in love with event espresso originally in the very beginning.

Hi, that is how the information is presented in Event Espresso 4.

The Multiple event registration add-on creates a shopping cart which is the equivalent when all pricing options are on a single event.

So how do I make it look like the picture on this page: https://eventespresso.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/ticket_Selector.gif ?

Hi,

The screenshot that you linked to is from Event Espresso 4.

If you would like to get something identical in Event Espresso 3, then please check with an Event Espresso professional:

Hello again Lorenzo,
Now my clients are getting angry with me, and I am getting a little frustrated. I bought EE4 originally and was told the things I needed were not compatible yet, so I got EE3. The plugin “Multiple Events” is compatible with both EE3 and EE4.
However now you’re saying in order to get what is pictured in the EE3 compatible sales page (https://eventespresso.com/features/multiple-ticket-pricing-options/) I need to pay a third party $500 to $10,000 dollars to configure it? More precisely to configure it to look like what’s offered on the sales page? I have been fighting through document after document sifting through shortcode after shortcode trying to keep a stiff upper lip and a good outlook but I am starting to waiver here a little.
I have a few other smaller items to clean up and hopefully I will be completely configured and I can let it go live, but I’d hate to have to give up all the time and energy I put into this up to this point.

Can I just purchase a support token or do I have to go through a third party? I am very confused here.

Hi, we provide customization assistance and tips for getting started when possible.

However, Event Espresso 3 and Event Espresso 4 have different codebases and different template files.

The closest match to the screenshot (ticket selector from Event Espresso 4) would be the Event Espresso 3 + the multiple event registration add-on via the shopping cart feature:

https://eventespresso.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/view_cart_multiple_prices.png

It is my understanding that you want an exact match which won’t be a quick edit due to the differences between the two platforms.

This customization would take more that adjusting a few lines of coding since templates (PHP) would need to be revised along with CSS (styling). We would not be able to handle this in a single support token. However, if this is critical to your project, then please complete this form and a team member will take a look at the request and reply with some feedback:

I really don’t want to argue with you Lorenzo. The picture is from this page https://eventespresso.com/features/multiple-ticket-pricing-options/ (which has ee3 on it.. MER is only available on EE3)

Hi, multiple tickets and pricing options are available in both versions of Event Espresso.

Multiple tickets and pricing options are not the same as the multiple event registration add-on.

Multiple tickets and pricing options means that an event can have more than one pricing option (e.g. adult ticket, child ticket, general admission, etc).

The multiple event registration add-on allows a registrant to register for more than one event at once.

I mentioned the multiple event registration add-on in my earlier reply as it includes a shopping cart feature which has similar functionality as the ticket selector table in Event Espresso 4.

That is, it presents current pricing options in a table format with a quantity option:

https://eventespresso.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/view_cart_multiple_prices.png

There are tabs for EE3 and EE4 that provide more details on the multiple tickets and pricing options feature in both versions.
