this is what we see in the Event Espresso Add Ons page for the multiple event add-on (pls see image in http://silverliningsfoundation.com/wp-content/uploads/multievent_addon.png, i’m not inserting it here as an image because my post gets blocked)
liked what we saw. so we signed up for the EE business license. this is what we have now. (pls see image in http://silverliningsfoundation.com/wp-content/uploads/event-registration.png, i’m not inserting it here as an image because my post gets blocked)
to register for multiple events, instead of checking in boxes, one must click on each Add to Cart link which becomes a View Cart link. there is no Register button and one must click on one of the View Cart links instead.
what we expected to get out-of-the-box was what’s shown on the Multiple Event Add-On image. instead we get something primitive in comparison. am i missing some basic setting or perhaps a theme add-on? pls help.

Hello, that image is to illustrate the idea that you can register for multiple events at once. That isn’t actually the interface.
Those links can be changed to buttons using CSS. What color would you like to use.

thanks for replying. unfortunately, that image gave us the impression that that’s what we’re getting. perhaps it would be good to have screenshots of the actual interface.
i think the idea is good, even if only in illustration. i’m sure you think the same, that’s why that’s what you have up there. hoping it’s what you’re working towards, a much easier and straightforward interface. we’ll keep on eye on future iterations.
for now, we’ll just have to use a simple contact form with multi-select checkboxes and a submit button. it’ll mean a lot more work for admins but it’ll be easier for our users.
