Mijireh Payment Option Needed but Missing

Hi,

About a month ago I got in touch with you regarding a website that was missing the payment options screen, apparently due to user role permissions? This was resolved – at least temporarily – by your adding some code to the site specific plugin already running on the site that was meant to pull all payment options from the EE database and display them. This functions as expected except that we now require the addition of Mijireh as a payment method for registrants. However, this is not showing at all within the Payment Methods screen?

Can anyone help, as any assistance with adding this back in would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Jonathan,

The reason that Mijireh didn’t show up as an option there was because it wasn’t in the database. It’s been added so now it displays as an option there.

That’s perfect Josh thanks!

I was wondering if you could also answer an additional query? Basically was wondering if it’s possible to include a button on the website that would act as a link for registrants to amend their registrations when coupled with the User Integration addon?

We’re also having issues with the payment reminder emails, in that the link within the email titled “Retry your Payment” doesn’t appear to lead anywhere when clicked? Just to a blank page on the website..

Thanks again

Hi Jonathan,

There’s a button in the actions column of the table that’s displayed with the [ESPRESSO_MY_EVENTS] short code.

Do you know the URL of the blank page?

Hi Josh,

This is the link from the Retry Payment email and blank page
http://digra-fdg2016.org/registration-checkout/?e_reg_url_link=1-636bd9b015699f208d9f5340592a1353&step=payment_options&revisit=1#checkout

I’m not sure if the [ESPRESSO_MY_EVENTS] short code is working as it simply displays:

YOUR REGISTRATIONS
You have no events yet

Despite a registration with a logged in account having been put through and approved.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Hi Jonathan,

I took a look in the database and the one transaction you linked to in the above reply is missing its line item data. It looks like that’s only the case for that one transaction. Do the other retry payment emails have the same problem?

I’m not sure if the [ESPRESSO_MY_EVENTS] short code is working as it simply displays:

It’s working for me. If you have any caching set up, you might need to clear the cache or disable caching.

Thanks Josh, will do some more testing on this end. I’ve got another small issue which you might be able to help with: on a separate site, when attempting to register for the event with multiple attendees within the registration, for some reason the additional attendee form inputs run out of the themes content area. Please see here for what I mean: http://venturefestscotland.co.uk/events/venturefest-scotland-2016/

Hope you can help with this too!

Hi Jonathan,

I checked the source of the page there, and it looks like there’s some invalid HTML where the Venturefest logo is set on the page. It’s missing the closing /figure tag.

So you might be able to fix this by going in to edit the page, then select the text editor mode, and make sure that the logo is correctly wrapped with figure tags, like this:

<figure><a href="http://venturefestscotland.co.uk/"><img class="aligncenter" src="http://venturefestscotland.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/vf-scotland-logo_2016-1.png" alt="Venturefest Scotland 2016 Logo" /></a></figure>
