We have had the mailchimp add on for many months. No issues. Today there is an error message in EE that states, “Invalid Mailchimp API”. I generated a new API on mailchimp. I entered it into EE and it keeps stating invalid API key. I then looked at all of our events and the mailchimp ad on is not even showing up. |

Hi Laura, Which version number of the MailChimp Add-on are you currently using? 2.5.0.p is the latest and MailChimp recently made changes to how the API works so you’ll need that version for it to work. |

Go to Dashboard -> Plugins. Search for MailChimp there and you’ll see a plugin from Event Espreso, it’ll show the version number there. |

Thank you! I found it and it had an update needed. So I did the update and it is 2.5.O But I do not see the mailchimp listed now on my events. |

You shouldn’t need to no. Does it show the key as valid when you save? |

I made a new API key and it appears all is working now. |

Oh! Very strange. I’ve not had any reports of having to create a new API key, I’ll make a note of that. I’m glad you found a solution 🙂 any further issues please let me know. |
