Hi Ramon,

To activate your key, you need to enter it into Event Espresso > General Settings, at the bottom.

Hello Jonathan,

I did so, I wrote down the new key there, but i got this message:
There is an automatic update for Event Espresso available but your Site License Key is invalid. Either you have entered the wrong key on the Event Espresso General Settings page OR you no longer have access to the updates for this plugin. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.
Thanks for answering.

Hello Jonathan,
After activate the key, I tried to updated Event Expresso plugin but I had I got the next message: ‘Download failed. Service Unavailable’. So I understand that I am having any kind of problem about reaching your server.
After this I couldn’t access again to my WordPress admin panel: I only could see a white page!!!. So I had to restore my Website and revert it back. And now I have the same problem before ask for reset my key:
‘You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.’

Please, I will appreciate any helo you could give with this issue. I am findin so hard this update!!!

Hi Ramon,

That “Download Failed:” error might have been because our update service or your website had issues connecting. It sounds like something went wrong because of what happened to your admin panel. I’ve never heard of that happening before.

Can you try updating again today (be sure to do a backup before)?

If you still have problems we can try to do this for you to see what is happening.

I tried again,

I tried to updated event expresso plugin and afer updating I had a white page for the WordPress admin panel, again. SO I HAD TO RESTORE the Website as it was before the updated. And now, i can try to update again becouse i have this message:

“You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.”

I need some help with this.

Hi Ramon,

I checked and your site has the older version of the Plugin Update Engine. There were some kinks that were worked out last fall that happened over a few updates, but your site never got those updates. Here’s a link to the post that instructed how to fix the issues:
https://eventespresso.com/topic/3-1-28-5-update-on-license-key-issues-and-fix/

So you could do a manual update to the latest version, and then request a key reset and we’ll reset the key for free, or if you’d prefer to try an automatically update we could try giving you a brand new key which will need one final reset.
