Inconsistency in Emails Sending (Godaddy Server)

Hello,

I am having some inconsistency issues trying to get the emails to send. I am using the WP SMTP plugin and sometimes it works with it and sometimes it doesn’t. It will work for about 24 hours and then stop working. If I turn off the plugin, it shows that the emails sent out but they never show up. Currently the plugin is on and it shows that the emails are sending but again, I am not receiving them. Is this an issues with the GoDaddy Workspace email? Do I need to change the email system to a domain based email? Or is there some code that is causing the emails to not be going out? All other wordpress emails work just fine. The only issue is with this plugin.

Any help would be great as we are receiving 200+ registrations a day and many aren’t getting the emails.

Hi Grace,

It very will could be due to GoDaddy’s servers. However, we recommend using Mandrill for sending email. It allows you to view reports on the emails that your site sends. Have you tried Mandrill?

Hi Jonathan, I was trying to not use another paid for plugin since the Event Espresso plugin isn’t cheap. But I signed up for Mandrill and everything is working now. Maybe in the future, you guys could work with them to incorporate the cost into your product since this is an integral part of your plugin working successfully.
