I'm not receiving registration details email

Starting yesterday I am no longer receiving emails confirming user registration details.

Hi Ken,

Does the attendee receive their registration email?

Did you make any changes to the site between when it was working and now?

Hi Tony,
It appears that no emails are being sent. I tried registering myself through the back end and also as a bona fide user submitting actual payment and no emails have arrived. Neither the email notifying the attendee of his registration nor do I as site owner receive an email confirming registration details.

Hi Ken,

I used the support token credentials you sent to log in to your WP dashboard and investigated as far as I could. I installed a few email troubleshooting plugins and found that the emails are successfully being handed off to the wp_mail() function. After that, it’s not sending. This is happening for all WordPress emails, not just Event Espresso. This is more than likely because of an issue with your hosting account’s mailserver.

Your host may be able to fix this if you contact them, or you can bypass using the hosting account’s mailserver by using a transactional email service like Mandrill or PostMarkapp. We recommend Mandrill because that’s what we use here at Event Espresso.

Mandrill is very simple to set up. You install the Mandrill plugin, sign up for a Mandrill account, and add your credentials in the WP admin. Mandrill’s mailservers are recommended to be used instead of a built in hosting account mailserver because they’re a lot more reliable.
