Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to add registration button under the thumbnail on the calendar? I would like each thumbnail to have its own registration button.
Would really appreciate your help.
Thanks,
M

Hi,

This isn’t something that can be done at least not without some customisation of the calendar. The tooltips (if turned on) do have a registration button in them though.

Hi Dean,

Is the calendar customization pretty simple? If yes, can you please tell me how?
I did turn on the tool tips but for some reason, it didn’t work (i.e. nothing shows up when I hover over the thumbnails). I did turn it on through the template setting too. Can you help me resolve this issue?

Thanks!

Hi,

The customisation would be out of the realm of support unfortunately, as far as I can tell it would be a fairly invovled process.

You could contact one of our recommended developers if you need this customisation done – https://eventespresso.com/developers/event-espresso-pros/

Regarding the tooltips, I’d be happy to look into it for you. Can you provide a link tot he calendar page so I can see what is occurring please?

Hi Dean,

Here’s the link to the calendar: http://thepaintfactorymn.com/calendar/
Right now, still I’m still working on the website, it’s in maintenance mode. Can’t really view the calendar unles you’re logged in.
So, if you want to take a look at what’s going on, you might want to login.

Oopsss..thanks for removing the login details. Just remember this is a public forum! Okay, I’ll just turn the website maintenance mode off for now…

Hi Mutiara,

I checked and there’s a JavaScript error thrown on your site:

Uncaught TypeError: Property ‘$’ of object [object Object] is not a function

When a JavaScript error gets thrown, the browser stops running the JavaScript right there, so scripts that are next in line to fire will not run (like in this case the tooltip script).

It’s possible there is a function within the active WP theme or another WP plugin that is causing the error to be thrown. You can rule out whether this is the case:

1) If it’s a theme conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily switching to the default WordPress theme.
2) If it’s a plugin conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily deactivating any other installed WordPress plugins.

The other thing that may help is to install the latest build of the calendar beta, which is available to download from the opt-in pre-release download section of your account page. You will need to opt in to the pre-release channel before the downloads will appear.
