Is it possible to paginate the grid? I’m using “table_pages=” to paginate the List Template, but I don’t see an equivalent for the Grid. Thanks

Hi Michael,

It turns out the Grid template wasn’t designed to use paging.

Thanks Josh.

The issue is that I’m trying to improve site speed. We have about 100 events on average.

The Table and Grid template both load the entire LIMIT at once, even when the Table is paginated (I think.)

I would say that our page load time for both templates is pushing the limit of usability.

I started looking into using a plugin, Justified Image Grid, to display the EE loop. I think it will both lazy-load images and paginate, though it will be a trick for me to configure because I don’t write php, I just cut and paste it 😉

Hi, you could create a new category with featured events and then use that category in the shortcode:

Running your featured images through a service like Yahoo smushit will also optimize them and reduce their sizes:
