Full Notice Not Showing & Time Slots Disappear on Full Event

Hi,

We have the latest version of WordPress and Event Espresso installed.
We use multiple registration times with an overall attendee limit on some of our day-to-day events as per image below.

As slots towards the end of the day fill up, time-slot options in the drop-down start to disappear until there are none left and Event Espresso does not show that ‘Event Full’ notice. See image below.

Is there a fix for this issue?

I used html above and thought my images would show.
Here are links to the images I mentioned.

Hi rsaban,

That feature is experimental, although it has been working fine a recent update may have changed this.

Within the event, the attendee limit, is it set to the amount of attendees available through the times slots? As in if you have 5 times slots with 1 attendee per slot, you total attendee limit should be 5. This should then close the event when this limit is reached.

Does that make sense?

Hi Tony,

Thanks so much for your reply!

Yes, we have been setting the limit as you have described in your post above and this works for events that are both fully booked and at least a day in the future.

But not for events on the same day. Take the following example:
10 events are available today throughout different time-slots
The overall attendee limit has been set to 10
six people book for the latest available slots. Attendee status is now at 6/10.
The day progresses and nobody books for the 4 earlier slots that have now passed and no later slots are available. Attendee status is still at 6/10 so the ‘Event Full’ notification wont be triggered.

I hope this makes sense.

We understand that this is an experimental feature and hope that you will be able to develop it further as our organisation has started relying on it more and more over the past few months. 🙂

Thanks again for speedy reply!

Hi rsaban,

No problem and yes that makes sense I understand now, thank you for clarifying.

I will get a ticket raised to look into this further with the developers and see what we can do.

As a workaround I would suggest, altering the total registration limit, reducind the amount to cover previous timeslots. (In the previous example once you get to the time for the first of the 6 people reduce the total limit down to 6, this will close the event)

Not ideal but may help.
