Exporting attendees report to excel

I am trying to see reports of attendees for any given month, even on a day to day how many people booked using our website, I need to be able to send that report to excel (where I can do my own formulas) and see the numbers. Everytime I go to attendees, filter a month and hit import to excel, it gives me a error message:

HTTP 500 error
That’s odd… the website can’t display this page
The site may be under maintenance or could have a programming error.
Try this
Go back to the last page

PLEASE HELP!

Hi there,

May I ask which version of Event Espresso is activated on your website right now?

Typically a 500 error results when the server is exceeding its memory usage limit, or there is code that’s being executed that throw a PHP error.

Here’s a link to the troubleshooting documentation that includes some information that shows how you can pinpoint what’s causing the issue:

Hi Josh,

I am not sure it is this: Event Espresso 4 (EE4): is that what you are looking for? I thought that might have been the issue, but I do not know how to fix it, OR is there a way in expresso that would give me the exact amount of attendee number for any give month or day without having to export it to excel? Even on a daily basis, we want to see how many people booked, is there a way to print out a report for that?

You can find your version number at the bottom of your WordPress dashboard page.

You can also get reports on how many people booked by going to Event Espresso > Registrations then you click on the Reports tab.

The 500 error can be fixed, but in order to know how to fix, there’s a troubleshooting step that needs to happen first, and that troubleshooting is explained here:

Oh I see, you’re running an older version of Event Espresso (3). The version that has the reports tab is Event Espresso 4. If you want to upgrade to Event Espresso 4 that will add the reporting features you’re looking for.

Here’s a link to the documentation that explains the migration process from Event Espresso 3 to Event Espresso 4:

Ideally the folks that originally installed Event Espresso 3 and set it up on your website could get involved, that’d be best since they’ll know which add-ons you’re using and other features like promotion codes that would need to be manually transferred to Event Espresso 4.

It may be possible for Event Espresso support staff to help with doing the migration from Event Espresso 3 to Event Espresso 4, but before we can give you a quote we’d need to evaluate what would be involved. For example you may need some of Event Espresso 4’s add-ons if you’re using add-ons or features like Promo codes for Event Espresso 3. We’d need to evaluate the site to give an estimate about what all would be involved to run the backups, run the migrations, and if anything like promotion codes need to be transferred. If the folks that originally set up Event Espresso 3 can’t help, you can contact sales and they can work with you on getting a quote.

The other alternative would be to continue on Event Espresso 3 and troubleshoot the 500 error so that you can use the Event Espresso 3 reporting tools. If you want to go that route, Event Espresso staff can do the troubleshooting for up to 30 minutes if you buy a priority support token and complete the priority support token form.

Hi there,

I have replied in the other thread you started regarding this:
