Hi there. I’ve just created my first event with this plugin and upon viewing it, an error message displays in the form of a popup. The error message is below:

The following errors have occurred:
The URL for the Event Details page could not be retrieved.
EED_Ticket_Selector – ticket_selector_form_open – 228
The URL for the Event Details page could not be retrieved.

The page is located at http://cfchamber.com/blog/events/august-december-eblast-sponsorships-2/

Also, it seems that the calender shortcode isn’t working either. Is [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] the correct shortcode?

WP Version: 3.9.2
Event Espresso Version: 4
This is a new installation of the plugin

Hi Bill,

Could you please setup no-cache rules for the Event Espresso pages:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/setup-nocache-exclusion-rules-event-espresso/

What page are you trying to use the calendar on?

I followed the tutorial for cache exclusion but W3 Total Cache doesn’t have a section for Page Cache. I’m trying to use the calendar at this link. http://cfchamber.com/blog/events/august-december-eblast-sponsorships-2/

Hi,

Is your W3 total cache plugin up to date?

The page cache option appears under the Performance menu in the WordPress dashboard. The URL looks similar to this:

example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=w3tc_pgcache

Ok, I added a page not to cache to W3TC but I still get the error message stated above. It’s clearly a javascript error so I’m at a loss to see why this would be related to caching. Is there something I need to do with individual events to keep this error from appearing?

Thanks for updating those no-cache rules.

Was Event Espresso 4 installed through the WordPress dashboard through the Plugins screen or via SFTP or FTP?

Installed through WP Dashboard

Hi,

Could you temporarily switch the site into defaults:

+ Default WP theme such as Twenty Twelve
+ Only Event Espresso running

Then could you check any of the registration pages to see if the error appears.

Also, do each of these events have multiple ticket options or is there just one option?

Be sure to restore your theme and other plugins after testing.
