Emailing all attendees for a specific event

My customer asked me how does she know the emails are being sent out when she sends an email to a specific event? There is no report or anything. I asked if she knew anyone personally attending that event but she said no. She then added herself as an attendee and sent the email and she did not receive it.

Hi Dorian,

Event Espresso does not keep a copy of those emails as it uses a native WP function called wp_mail which then uses the local email server to send those emails out.

If she did not receive an email from a test registration, then I would check the spam/junk mail folder.

A transactional email service like Mandrill, Sendgrid, or Postmark app can help ensure that those emails are delivered and some even offer a tracking service so you can see when emails are delivered and opened:
