I know that in EE3, you just need to turn fancy email headers on to fix this. But in EE4, I can’t figure out where or how to make this work. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks so much!

Hello,

Could you check the message type to see if the subject was accidentally removed?

This can be done by going to the messages screen and locating the type of message type (e.g. registration approved, then clicking on the recipient for the message — registrant or event admin).

This is an example for the event admin or event author:

The subject works, my bad. The issue is the sender name says WORDPRESS.

Any way to change that?

So now, i’ve switched the from email to email name <info@email.com> and it works…but it sends one from the correct name as well as from WORDPRESS. So it’s sending 2 copies of the same email at the same time. I’m guessing this is a bug…

Okay thanks for clarifying. WordPress is the generic name that several web hosts use.

Try this plugin from the WordPress plugins directory:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/send-from/

If that doesn’t work, then setup Mandrill:
