Hello I am just begining to use the EE4 products i purchased. I see post regarding my issue with using a managed godaddy wordpress site however the responses as simple as they may seem to others for those of use that have no knowledge i am not understanding why its not working when customers try to purchase tickets and they get the error that nothing is in their cart. I need assistance.

Hi there,

We can help you get caching disabled on your Godaddy managed hosting account today if you can complete the secure form on this page.

To help explain why your site is working, it might help to think of caching as a snapshot of your website at an earlier, specific moment of time. So when caching is enabled, your site visitors will see a message about nothing in their cart even after adding an event to their cart.

It doesn’t take long.

The credentials you sent for logging into the WordPress dashboard were incorrect. The SFTP credentials were correct though, so we were able to delete the object-cache.php file as instructed here.

Since we were unable to log into your WordPress site’s dashboard, maybe you can? If so, you can click on Flush Cache which appears on the admin toolbar.

It would be a good idea to double check things and do a few test registrations to make sure the caching is indeed disabled.
