Hi there,

We have a guide that can help with troubleshooting the white screen:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-event-espresso/#wsod

Usually turning WP_DEBUG on will help pinpoint where the errant code is.

Hi Josh, thanks for your help! I could fix the issue with the debug mode.

Damn it – again an issue….can you please help me again?

I get this debug text but don’t know what to do with that

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /var/www/vhosts/homeopera.net/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/roots/inc/custom.php on line 1

This file contains only <?php

Hi Alessandro, the opening PHP tag is needed if this is a standalone function that will be in its own plugin.

If you are adding it via the custom functions add-on or a child theme’s functions.php, then it should not be included.
