confirmation emails, some go to inbox, some junk some never get them

As per above, on my site some confirmation emails are going into registrants inbox, some into their junk and some never receive one. What can I do to make this more consistent and land in the inbox every time?

Hello, this is a good example of where a transactional email service like Mandrill or Postmark app can help.

They specialize in email deliverability and both offer a generous free tier:
