I have an event where multiple people can register together as a family. There is a per person cost. I want to give a family discount. For example if per person cost is $55, the family cap for family or 4+ is $200. How can I enable this feature?

I have two suggestions for you, but neither might be the exact solution for you.

1) Take a look at the Volume Discount Addon documentation and that might get you part of the way there: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/volume-discounts/

2) If using EE4 is an option, you can create different tickets and set the minimum and maximum number of tickets for a single price per ticket. You might want to have a couple ranges of tickets.

Does that help?

I’d like to try the volume discount addon. How do install this?

Great.

You can access the Pre-release channel from your account page and here is the guide there: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/pre-release-channel-guide/

You then install the plugin as normal and follow the instructions above.
