I selected a quantity of tickets and clicked to register/buy them and the checkout page says that there is Nothing in your Event Queue. This happens from my iphone 4s. It works fine on my desktop. http://companytheatre.wpengine.com/events/white-christmas/ Using the latest versions of everything. |
Hi Zoe, This is not actually specific to your mobile device, but due to WP Engine caching the pages on your site. If I register from here I see the same issue on desktop, the reason it works for yourself is when logged in you will not be served cached content, as I’m not logged into your site I see the cached ‘ticket-checkout’ page which causes this error. To fix this you need to remove the EE critical pages from caching, on WP Engine you need to create a support ticket for them to exclude those pages. I can see on your site you have changed some of the critical pages slugs (for example espresso-checkout is ticket-checkout), which is fine, but you’ll need to provide those slugs to WP Engine. If you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical Pages (tab) you’ll find a list of critical pages, it is the slugs for those pages you’ll need to send over. Here’s an example of how this is done when using a Caching Plugin and the default slugs: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/setup-nocache-exclusion-rules-event-espresso/ Please note as you are using WP Engine you can not manually set the exclusion rules yourself so the link above is just to provide an example. |

Tony, Thanks for the solution. I submitted a ticket to have these pages omitted from caching to WPengine. |
Please let us know once this has been enabled. — |

I received a confirmation from Event Espresso that they have taken care of this. |
Great 🙂 Running a quick test on your site it appears registration is now working as expected. |
