Can't manually add an attendee through back end

I am trying to add an attendee to our event which is full. In the past I have been able to manually add someone even if the event is full. This time when I tried to add them I got the following message
Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/includes/admin-reports/add_new_attendee.php on line 22

I saw another ticket like that in 2014. Did that ever get fixed? It was working fine for the firs few weeks and all of a sudden stopped letting us register attendees over limit.

Hi Kat, this sounds different that how it works in Event Espresso 4. In Event Espresso 4, a full event would require additional spaces to add an additional registrant.

What version of Event Espresso 3 are you currently using?

Hi Kat, could you update to a current version of Event Espresso 3?

Then try raising the attendee limit and adding an additional registrant.

It does work if we raise attendee limit. But it is very time consuming. It used to let us just add attendees in the back end even if the event is full.

Maybe is there a way to add additional drop-down option when we Edit payment? We need to be able to either overbook events or change status to “no show”.

Thank you for your help and fast reply.

Hi Kat,

There isn’t a drop-down to mark an attendee as a “no show”. If you change the status of a “no show” attendee to “Incomplete”, that attendee will not have a space reserved, therefore not taking away from the maximum attendees for the event. Then you can add an additional attendee.

Yes but then we have no way of separating people who just didn’t complete the registration from the once who didn’t show up. We need to keep that list because they can reschedule at a small fee later vs paying in full again.

Hi Kat, we are currently fixing bugs and maintaining support for Event Espresso 3 and the latest version of WordPress. However, no new features are being added. You could check with an Event Espresso professional here:
