Can parameters be set for promotion codes

Hello, We have a client that uses promotion codes to give discounts that are based on the number of people in the group.

Currently a customer can apply a promotion code to their order even if they do not have the right number of people in the group.

I’m not seeing a way to set limits or parameters in the promotion code area. Is there a way to do this? For example, if the customer has 10-14 people in their group, they get one discount. If they have over 15 people, they get a different discount.

Hi Rob,

Currently it is not possible to set parameters on promotion codes.

If you are using EE3 we have the Volume Discount add-on which allows you to set a discount based on the number of tickets purchased. That discount will then automatically be applied to the registrations, however note that if you also allow promotion codes on the event you can not prevent both from being applied.

The Volume Discount Add-on is in Beta but is available through the Pre-Release Channel Guide if you would like to try it. We recommend installing it in on development copy of the site first to see if it suits your needs.
