It appears that there is a shopping cart built into Event Espresso. Is that correct?

Hi Tom,

It depends on your definition of a shopping cart.

We have the Multi Event Registration add-on which allows you too add multiple events and/or multiple ticket types to a ‘cart’ then register for all the events in one registration.

This will not also allow you to add other products, just Event Espresso events.

I think that answers the question. Our client needs to provide a way for people to sign up and pay online for classes at their brick and mortar location. It appears that EE allows them to both register and check out, correct? From there, the transaction is processed through and Intuit Merchant Services account.

If the attendee is only purchasing a ticket for a single event you wouldn’t need Multi Event Registration (MER).

If they are registering for multiple classes you would use MER.

We have examples of both here http://demoee.org/

If you click ‘Register’ you will be taken through the normal registration process. If you use ‘Add to Cart’ you can see the process with MER.

MER allows you to add multiple events to the cart and then register.

(we currently only have the invoice payment gateway active here but yours will allow for other forms of payment depending on which you have active)
