I know EE doesn’t have the function for donations on tickets, but wonder if it was possible by using the ‘Multiple Event Registration’ add-on by creating a separate event for a donation and using its shortcode on the ticket/event page? If not what other ways can we create donations on individual event pages?

May I ask another question? I installed MER and tested it. This time not for the donations idea but for someone to simply browse events and add all to basket. So, I went to one event, added it to the event cart, then went to entirely different web page and added another event, but tests show that there is only one event in the cart. Therefore, am I to assume that the MER plugin is only for multiple events that are on the same webpage? And does not allow the user to jump from different pages to add multiple events?

Hi there,
No, MER allows you to add multiple events across multiple pages, unless something is hooking in and doing something with sessions/transients on the site.
Can you link me to the events you added so I can take a look?
