Hello,
I am using EE4 and the Alternate Registration Page link is not working correctly. We have it set up to link to http://www.ivestraining.com/programs/?ref=SCI but it is going to http://www.ivestraining.com/programs/

Hi Heather,

How are you today?

Can you give us a link where we can view this event and see that the button doesn’t work, also can you give us a link to your EE4 event list?

Hi heather,

I’ve been doing some additional testing and there is a bug where these urls are being broken with special characters like the ones you’re using. I’ve reported this to the developers and we’ll get this fixed.

One thing you can do as a temporary workaround is to hide the ticket selector via the Event Options: http://www.screencast.com/t/FnvZTxJp and create a link/button in the event description. Does that make sense?

Yes. I will do that for now. Once the developers have this fixed please let me know. Thanks Garth!

Hi Heather,

The fix was added to Event Espresso 4.2.6, which was just released as an update.

Thanks Josh. For some reason I am unable to do the automatic update. I keep receiving the error message below, even though my site_license key is assigned to this site.

‘There is a new version of Event Espresso available. View What’s New with version 4.2.6.p. You need a valid Site License Key to enable automatic upgrades. Your current membership level does not allow automatic upgrades on more than one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.’

Hi, I’ve created a new support license key ending in 39. You can find it in your Event Espresso account:

https://eventespresso.com/users/safetycenter/

Copy and paste that key into the General Settings page for Event Espresso and try updating again.
