Adding to Cart but then not able to proceed to registration

Im having issue were customers are saying they can’t register for event. they are able to select qty and add to cart but when they process to registration it tells them there is not qty in their cart. This seems to be at random and only had it happen to me once. When I went back in a few hours later it was fine.
