Hi Lydia,

Do you have the Ticketing add-on active and have you selected a ticket in the Event settings?

If you want to include the QR code in the email, you can enter the [qr_code] shortcode within the email.

i did not choose the ticket in the setting.

Hi,

may i know where to find the add-on button?

The ticketing add-on is a plugin, it should be in your active list of plugins. Dashboard -> Plugins. If not you’ll need to download and install it (the same way as Event Espresso) then activate it. We have a guide for installing here https://eventespresso.com/wiki/installing-event-espresso/

i did not choose the ticket in the setting.

Within the Event Settings you’ll see http://d.pr/i/PCZk
This will display all the custom ticket templates you have created for you to select in the dropdown.

as some events are for more than one type of tickets.

Currently each Event can have only 1 ticket template assign to it. So this template will be used for all the available ticket types for that event.

Sorry, I can’t get wht u mean ‘So this template will be used for all the available ticket types for that event.’

For example,
Some ppl buy 4 lesson within a 4-week pass, for some ppl buy 8 lessons, the prices are different. How can I set it in the event? I can just set it as different ticket in the ticket template.

Also, can the ppl check how many remaining class they hv, and see the valid date of their pass?

If it is possible to show ‘late cancel’ in the cancelled registration?

A single event can have multiple ticket prices, but only one ticket template. (The ticket template determines the ‘look’ of the ticket once it has been printed, the prices are set within the Event itself and the templates will pull those prices in and display them)

Some ppl buy 4 lesson within a 4-week pass, for some ppl buy 8 lessons, the prices are different. How can I set it in the event? I can just set it as different ticket in the ticket template.

Event Espresso does not currently support any kind of ‘pass’, it depends on how you are setting up the events. If a user buys a ‘4-week pass’ are the prices for the events the same as when a user buys an ‘8-week pass’? Meaning the difference in price would be from the actual pass itself?

Also, can the ppl check how many remaining class they hv, and see the valid date of their pass?

Unfortunately not through Event Espresso as we do not support passes currently.

If it is possible to show ‘late cancel’ in the cancelled registration?

I’m not sure where you would like to display this?

Thx for the reply,

As it is very common that student buy a package or pass, if students and teachers can’t check how many lessons they left. It is really not convenient for us. Hope yr company can provide this soon.

For the late cancel, can it shown in the students record? Also, can students and teacher check the date and number of lessons they hv take ? Thx

Finally, I hope yr company may observe Wht function of other booking system provided. As the function I asked before can be commonly found in other companies.

For the late cancel, can it shown in the students record?

There are two ways for an attendee to cancel currently. Either the Admin can assign the attendee as cancelled, or if using the WP Members Integration add-on the attendee can cancel the registration themselves.

If the Admin cancels a registration it is possible to add a ‘notes’ section to the attendees questions (admin view only) in which any notes can be input when cancelling.

If using the WP-Members add-on then currently they will be marked as cancelled and an email sent to the admin. You could add some features to this to do the same as above on cancellation, although this would require some custom development.

Also, can students and teacher check the date and number of lessons they hv take ? Thx

This is possible using the WP-Member Add-on and veiwing the ‘My Events’ page from either the admin or front-end. Heres an example http://d.pr/i/M0R5

Thank you for the feedback. Currently we are heavily focused on EE4 and the features it will provide. We have receive requests for ‘season-passes’ so I will add this thread to the vote 🙂
