You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but…….

I am again not able to upgrade to the latest version!

I get the message ‘You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. ‘

This patently untrue.

I am using EE on only one website, namely http://alrewascanalfestival.org and it is live now and actively receiving bookings for the Festival I organise.

Please fix this – it is a pain having to update manually via FTP.

By the way, everytime this comes up (that is whenever you release an update) I and others experience this problem. You usually respond by resetting the key and then you close that thread as being ‘resolved’ – for me, it isn’t always a resolution and I’d like to be able to rpeort that in the thread so could we keep this one open at least until the NEXT upgrade is available?

Regards

Will

Cheers

Hi Will,

Sorry about the problems here, we have upgraded the licence system fairly recently and it has cut down on a lot of these requests but some are still popping up.

Rather than reset your key I have generated a new key for you, so please remove the old one, save the options with no key and add the newly generated one from your account and resave.

Regarding keeping the forums open, we have a timed system to close a thread if there have been no responses after a set period of time, it helps us to manage threads where the user doesnt respond for some reason.

I have the exact same issue on michellehviid.dk, causing the error to continuously be shown in the backend. Could you do the same for me Dean?

Thanks for a great system 🙂

Hi Guys, I am having this issue too.  I just attempted to reset my key but I guess I didn’t realize that was only for additional licenses.  Can you generate a new key for me too?  Or advise best thing to do.

Thanks!

Kathleen,

I reset your license key. Lets see if that works first.

Hey there!  I’m having the same issue with the updates.  My domain is sewitstudio.com.  Do you need any other information to help me get this solved?

Thanks in advance!

Melanie

Hi Melanie,

I’ve reset your license key. Please remove your license key from the General Settings page of Event Espresso and save the form blank without a license key. Then re-enter your license key again which should enable the new domain and/or one-click upgrades.

I am also having the same issue with my EE.. Please reset ASAP.

Didn’t read the instructions first time round and tried to place the new key over the old one – that didn’t work and then I noticed I should first blank out old key, save and THEN enter new key and save again.

That worked and for the first time in a longwhile I was able to update automatically. Thanks … fingers crossed that it will continue to work with later upgrades.

Regards

Will

Hello,

I also need the key reset for my site, although I have the key set to the IP address. Can I get it set to the http://www.tg8.com.au domain instead?

Cheers.

@Winston – reset. If the site is no on a proper domain then the plugin will realise that and use the correct domain. Please remove the licence key from general settings, save, add the key back and resave. If it is not working within 24 hours or there are further issues please advise.

@Phillis – reset, please see above for instructions.
