Wrong URL in database after migration

Hello! First of all, I LOVE v.4! I am using the Mocha theme. Recently I migrated our EE install from pfdcevents.com to events.penflorida.org. Everything migrated well and seems to be working. However, I am plagued with not being able to register. The database is looking for the http://events.penflorida.org/events; however, everything goes back to an events listing page when the “Register” button is clicked. Can you please give me a hand on this one?

Hi Michael,

When you say you migrated the site, how exactly did you do this?

If you got to Event Espresso -> General Setings -> Critical Pages. Are all the Page & Shortcode Status ok? (Green)

To migrate, I moved the install from PFDCEvents.com to events.penflorida.org and then used MigrateWP to move the database. I have used the Search and Replace plugin to detect any weird links, but find nothing. There is absolutely no residual of pfdcevents.com in the database.

As to the critical pages, they are all green.

Hi Michael,

Can you try creating a new page on the new site, name it something like “checkout”, place the [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT] shortcode on it, then set the new page to be the registration checkout page in the Critical pages settings?

Thanks, Josh. It looks like that worked for me. Strange.

Should I create new pages for the other critical pages as well just to be safe?

Hi Michael,

It would not hurt to create new pages for the other critical pages just to be safe.
