Wrong Start/End Day and Time

There seems to be an issue with the display of the start/end day and times for events on the event calendar.
When an event has one ticket option, let’s say July 9 from 9am – 5pm, and the fields to create a new ticket have a pre-filled start time of July 9 at 8 am, the event calendar shows that the event start time begins at 8 am. This screenshot shows the areas I am referring to in the admin side: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s116/sh/a98f7ce9-b683-437c-8bbc-5f6f03181fc0/0a85cd7da1f622a56fc6ea34e14ff56a
Similarly if the start date field in the section to create a new ticket is pre-filled with an earlier date than the start date, it uses that date on the event calendar. The same goes for end dates and times past the actual event’s end date/time.
This is fixed by selecting a date/time that is the same as the earliest start time or latest end time for the available ticket options, or a time anywhere in between. However, it would be nice if the calendar would ignore these dates and times since they are not associated with any valid ticket options.

Hello,

That is the expected behavior and here is why.

Event Espresso allows you to create an event that can have multiple dates and times and then assign those to different ticket options.

This means that you can offer a ticket option that has access to a specific date time but not another.

The start time and end time on the ticket is when the ticket should be available for sale. For example, if you were hosting a cooking class, then you could set the ticket sales to close a few days before the actual event so that you have some time to prepare for the cooking class.

Here is an example of how to create an event that has multiple events and date times:

If you do not need that, then just ensure that the date time for each event has the date and time of the actual event.

OH I totally messed that up. Sorry for the confusion. I’m all straightened out now.
