HI. I started this topic two weeks ago and needed to do some work on the site before trying your solution. The old topic has been closed. Here is the issue again.
I have a large whitespace between my header and body in Theme X. You suggested this:
Usually this is caused by the theme improperly applying a margin to an element by selection of first-child, which can be fixed by changing the CSS selector to use first-of-type.
But I don’t really know where to insert or change this, and if it will be changed with theme updates.

Hi Stephen,
As these forums are public I highly recommend you change the password for the account you included above (I’ve now removed them from your post).
In the future, if you need to submit login credentials we recommend you do so using this form:

You can add the code to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS.
It will not be lost with theme updates in that location. The fix Josh suggested did indeed fix the issue when I tested it on your site using Chome Dev Tools.
